This programme will provide the candidate with the knowledge and skills to inspect standard/non-complex scaffolding structures and complete safety inspection reports to internationally recognised standards.

The IST Scaffold Inspection card will be valid for 3 years.
Cards are renewable upon completion of the 1-day Scaffold inspection refresher programme.

Candidates holding the Scaffold Inspection card must complete more than 2 years onsite experience before progressing to Advanced Scaffold Inspection Training and Assessment.

• Initial Scaffold Inspection
• Final assessment Scaffold Inspection
• Complete Inspection report
• Scaffold Inspection Knowledge/Behaviours Test (80% to pass)
• All elements must be completed satisfactorily for the candidate to pass the course.
